We appreciate your presence on Dengtai Network, a platform where performing arts professionals gather to stay informed and forge meaningful connections. The content you share should contribute constructively to the Dengtai Network community. More details on what this entails are provided below. By collaborating, we can transform our community into a space of learning, growth, and effective communication, thereby fostering economic opportunities for all. As a community, we value respect and support, fostering an environment where members can achieve success together.
1. Be Safe
Please ensure that all content you bring to Dengtai Network is safe and compliant with our community guidelines.
Do not engage in harassment: Bullying or harassing behavior is strictly prohibited. This includes personal attacks, intimidation, shaming, disparagement, and the use of abusive language directed at other members. Avoid disclosing personal or sensitive information about others (also known as “doxing”) or encouraging others to do the same. Refrain from engaging in trolling or repeatedly posting negative content that disrupts other members or conversations on the platform.
Avoid promoting violence: Any form of threatening or inciting violence is not allowed. We do not tolerate individuals or groups promoting violence, property damage, or organized criminal activity. Do not use Dengtai Network to express support for such individuals or groups or to glorify violence in any way.
Prevent sharing of exploitative material involving children: We have a zero-tolerance policy for content that depicts the sexual exploitation of children. Do not share, post, transmit, or solicit child exploitation material through our platform. Furthermore, do not use Dengtai Network to facilitate, encourage, or engage in the abuse or exploitation of children. When we come across apparent child exploitation, we promptly report it to the relevant authorities. While we acknowledge that there might be instances where people share non-sexualized images of child nudity with good intentions, we generally remove such images to prevent potential misappropriation and abuse by others.
Please refrain from promoting, selling, or attempting to purchase illegal or dangerous goods or services. We strictly prohibit content that facilitates the purchase of illegal or hazardous goods and/or services, including prostitution and escort services. Content promoting or distributing fake educational and/or professional certifications, the sale of scraped data, proxy test-taking, or instructions on creating forged official documents is also not allowed. Using Dengtai Network to hold lotteries, contests, sweepstakes, or giveaways is prohibited. Additionally, do not exploit or capitalize on tragic events for commercial purposes through Dengtai Network. Lastly, please avoid sharing content that promotes dangerous organizations or individuals.
2. Be Trustworthy
At Dengtai Network, we value trust and authenticity. We require all users to use their true identity, provide accurate information about themselves or their organizations, and share only real and authentic content. Posting illegal job advertisements is strictly prohibited. Recruitment listings can only be posted by direct employers or licensed recruitment agencies.
Do not share false or misleading content: It is important not to share content that you know or suspect to be misleading or inaccurate, including misinformation or disinformation. Do not use content to interfere with or improperly influence an election or other civic process. We may prevent the posting of content from sites known for producing or containing misinformation. Avoid sharing false content or information, such as news stories, as if they were true or likely to be true. Posting “deepfake” images or videos of others or any manipulated content to deceive is not allowed. Do not endorse or share content in exchange for personal benefits, including personal or family relationships, monetary payments, free products or services, or other value, without clearly and conspicuously disclosing the personal benefits received.
Do not create fake profiles or provide false information: Fake profiles or entities are not allowed. Avoid posting misleading or deceptive information about yourself, your business, qualifications, work experience, affiliations, or achievements. Use only your own likeness for your profile photo and refrain from associating yourself with a business or organization that you are not genuinely professionally connected to. Do not attempt to use another person’s Dengtai Network account or create a member profile for anyone other than yourself. Sharing your Dengtai Network account with others is also prohibited.
Do not engage in scams, fraud, or deception. Do not use Dengtai Network to participate in romance scams, promote pyramid schemes, or deceive other members. Do not share malicious software that can harm our members, platform, or services. Phishing attempts will not be tolerated.
3. Be professional
Dengtai Network’s mission is to connect the world’s performing arts professionals to make them more productive and successful.
We allow broad conversations about the world of performing arts, but require professional expression. To maintain a professional platform, members should treat each other with respect and civility. Do not interact with others or share content in a way that’s uncivil, inappropriate, or disrespectful.
Do not spread hatred. We don’t allow content that attacks, denigrates, intimidates, dehumanizes, incites, or threatens hatred, violence, prejudicial or discriminatory action against individuals or groups because of their actual or perceived race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, age, or disability status. Do not use racial, religious, or other slurs that incite or promote hatred, or any other content intended to create division.
Do not engage in sexual innuendos or unwanted advances. We don’t allow unwanted expressions of attraction, desire, requests for romantic relationships, marriage proposals, sexual advances, or innuendo, or lewd remarks. Dengtai Network is a professional platform, not a dating site. Do not use Dengtai Network to pursue romantic connections, ask for romantic dates, or provide sexual commentary on someone’s appearance or perceived attractiveness. Do not send unwanted advances in messages, posts, or comments or send sexually explicit images to anyone on the platform.
Do not share harmful or shocking material. We don’t allow content that is excessively gruesome or shocking. This includes content that is sadistic or gratuitously graphic, such as the depiction of bodily injury, severe physical or sexual violence. We don’t allow content, activities, or events that promote, organize, depict, or facilitate criminal activity. We also don’t allow content depicting or promoting instructional weapon making, drug abuse, and threats of theft. Do not engage in or promote escort services, prostitution, exploitation of children, or human trafficking. Do not share content or activities that promote or encourage suicide or any type of self-injury, including self-mutilation and eating disorders. If you see signs that someone may be considering self-harm, please report it to us and consider also reporting it to your local law enforcement authorities. Do not share material depicting nudity or sexual activity.
Do not spam members or the platform. We don’t allow untargeted, irrelevant, obviously unwanted, unauthorized, inappropriately commercial or promotional, or gratuitously repetitive messages or similar content. Do not use our invitation feature to send promotional messages to people you don’t know or to otherwise spam people. Please make the effort to create original, professional, relevant, and interesting content to gain engagement. Don’t do things to artificially increase engagement with your content. Respond authentically to others’ content and don’t agree with others ahead of time to like or re-share each other’s content.
4. Special Provisions
If the user commits any of the following acts or has the following circumstances, it is deemed that after discovering or receiving a complaint or report, we have the right to freeze the user’s account or otherwise suspend the provision of services to the user without any prior notice, and require the user to bear the corresponding compensation for damages:
- Violation of laws and regulations: Publish information that violates relevant national laws and regulations and the “seven bottom lines” and “nine prohibitions” management regulations.
- Friendly behavior: Behavior that does not respect the target user and the content they contribute, mainly manifested as:
- Contempt: Demeaning or belittling others and the fruits of their labor;
- Defamation: fabricating or spreading false facts to damage the reputation of others;
- Ridicule: Irritating others by exposing or describing them or their actions in a metaphorical, exaggerated, or insulting manner;
- Provocation: Provoking others in an unfriendly manner with the intention of making them respond to their own remarks, deliberately creating trouble;
- Humiliation: Devaluing another person’s abilities, behavior, physiology, or identity to embarrass them;
- Verbal abuse: Negative evaluation of others in uncivilized language;
- Discrimination: Attacks on another person’s ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, age, region, physical characteristics, or other identities or classifications;
- Threats: Promises of undesirable consequences to compel others to submit to their will.
- Publishing spam advertising information: Users publish content that affects user experience, disrupts the order of the platform, or conducts related behaviors for the purpose of promoting exposure.
- Repeatedly posting spam advertisements that include selling products, providing services, and promoting promotional content. This includes, but is not limited to, the following forms:
- A single account posts content containing spam ads multiple times;
- Multiple accounts work together to post content that contains spam;
- Repeatedly posting content containing deceptive backlinks, redirect websites, etc., to trick users into clicking on links.
- Publishing a large number of content containing SEO promotion links, obtaining improper exposure in search engines, buying or selling false interactions between accounts, publishing promotional content and related transactions that interfere with the order of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, the following forms:
- The attention to the purchase of a registered account of a machine fakes the influence within the platform;
- Buying a machine to register an account and clicking on the consent to seek an answer for improper exposure.
- Using illegal means that seriously affect the user experience for malicious marketing. This includes, but is not limited to, the following forms:
- Illegally reprint other people’s content and add promotional marketing content
- Posting content that contains deceptive malicious marketing, such as malicious marketing by falsifying experiences, impersonating others, etc
- Ad content that uses special symbols, images, etc. to avoid spam moderation.
- Malicious behavior: abuse of product functions, conduct behaviors that affect user experience, endanger platform security and harm the rights and interests of others. The main manifestations are:
- Malicious editing refers to editing that reduces the quality of public editorial content, such as emptying or deleting valid content, adding irrelevant information, destroying the structure of content, etc.
- Impersonating another person and implying that you are equal or associated with another person or organization through personal information such as avatar or username.
- Repeatedly posting content that interferes with normal user experience. This includes, but is not limited to, the following forms:
- Duplicate responses are posted multiple times under different reviewed companies;
- Frequently publish meaningless garbled characters such as characters and numbers that are difficult to discern and affect the reading experience;
- Harass others, repeatedly send repetitive or similar appeals to others through comments, private messages, etc;
- Create and disseminate malicious programs or related tutorials that are plug-ins or used to operate account functions;
- Post potentially dangerous content such as phishing sites, trojans, virus sites, etc.
Please let us know if you come across any abusive content. If you encounter anything that you believe may violate our policies, whether in profiles, posts, messages, comments, or anywhere else, please report it to us. Your reports assist us in identifying and preventing abuse.
Violation of our community policies may lead to actions taken against your account or content.
These policies apply to all members. Depending on the severity of the violation, we may limit the visibility of certain content, label it, or remove it entirely. Repeated or serious offenses will result in account restrictions. If you believe that action taken on your content or account was a mistake, you can submit an appeal.
